青苗每个孩子的未来,都可能为人类的共同命运而战!

  上周,青苗国际双语学校4年级小学生杨泽华创作并演唱的RAP出现在各大教育媒体,引起很多人点赞和关注。这个阳光、帅气的男孩,用稚嫩的童声唱出了自己对此次疫情的理解,触动了许多人的心灵。

  北大校长蔡元培曾说:决定孩子一生的不是学习成绩,而是健全的人格修养。光读书本的知识是不够的,也要读社会这本大书。新冠肺炎疫情当下,如何引导孩子与当下的时代同频共振,激发学习内驱力,培养孩子健全的人格?对此,我们特别采访了泽华妈妈赵宏丽女士。

  Q:泽华妈妈您好!泽华的音乐创作感动了很多人,疫情期间,请问您是如何引导孩子关注时事的?当孩子有了创作欲望的时候,您又是如何加以鼓励和支持的?

  有人说:“你眼前的每个孩子,都可能在未来的某一天,为我们共同的命运而战!”作为国家和社会的未来,孩子有权利,也应该知道现在发生了什么。没有刻意引导,在家人的谈论中,孩子自然会接受到信息,也会参与话题的探讨中来,除了告诉他防护的重要性外,和他讨论更多的是疫情背后的事,比如为什么会出现疫情?如果你有机会去管理这个国家,你要怎么做?在大自然面前,人类的力量大吗?……通过这些讨论,或许能引导他通过思考,去参悟和探究这些问题背后的规律和本质。

  说到他这次的创作,其实孩子喜欢电子音乐、说唱音乐已经有一段时间了,说实话,最开始我并不太接受每天“炸”的我头晕的音乐。可是当孩子给我推荐音乐并建议我MV可以用这种形式拍;晚会选择这个音乐会更好;兴冲冲地给我表演自己编排的RAP时,我突然意识到了“每一个愿望都值得被呵护”的意义。我不喜欢,不代表别人不喜欢,艺术是多元的,我不能用自己的狭隘去限制孩子想象的翅膀。

  在这次整个创作过程中,我“严格”尊重作者的意见,选音乐、和节奏、动作、服装都本着不参与、适当给建议的原则。这也许是我做导演以来,做出的最不“专业”的作品,但我宁愿尊重和保留“瑕疵”中他的这份天真。

  Q:作为一名导演,您拍摄过两部院线电影《老师也疯狂》《疯狂一家秀》,探讨什么是最好的教育。所以,您能具体谈一谈,您心目中的理想教育是什么样子的?

  这个世界真的没有什么“最好”的教育,适合孩子的,就是最好的。但如果一定要用理想来定义,我觉得应该是“人”的教育。比如:生存能力教育,生命教育,爱的教育,责任感、使命感的教育等。

  以这次疫情为例,如果一个月足不出户,家人不在,我们的孩子能否很好的自我生存下来?即使没有这次疫情,我们的孩子是否在教育中,懂得“一切生命都值得敬畏和珍重”的道理?他们心中是否充满仁慈和温暖?在问题面前是否敢于承负和担当?在职责面前,内心是否被正义、热忱所充盈?

  孔子说:“弟子入则孝,出则悌,谨而信,泛爱众而亲仁。行有余力,则以学文。”——这就是最好的概括。只有先完善了健全的人格,做到人之为人应该具备的品质,接下来才是文化教育、素质教育、情智教育、财商教育等等。在这条路上,我们任重而道远!

  Q:您是如何看待国内目前的国际教育的?能谈一谈,为什么会为孩子选择了国际教育、为什么选择了青苗吗?

  目前的国际教育是教育多元化的一种呈现形式。教育的形式本就该“多元”。因为我们的孩子每一个人都是独特的存在,每个“有趣的灵魂都应该被尊重”,单一的教育和评价体系,不一定适合所有的人,选择对的教育体系,对孩子来说是受益终身的。

  选择国际教育,是因为它开放、包容、探究、平等的理念。我希望孩子在一个相对自由、平等、轻松的环境中度过他的童年。人生是场马拉松,没必要过于在意幼年时期是不是“输在起跑线”。

  通过我的一位做多元智能和家庭教育的师兄张巨河老师介绍,我来到青苗,这里中西融合的办学理念,人教版语、数课程的设置,比较符合我的要求,毕竟是中国人,不该全部放弃自己民族固有的传承和教学内容。

  Q:孩子是什么时候来到青苗的?您觉得实际的教育效果达到了当初对教育的期待吗?在哪些方面让您觉得非常满意,能否具体谈一谈?

  孩子是从学前班来到青苗的。说到期待,我觉得达到了吧!具体满意的地方,应该是尊重、平等、开放、自主的积极心态,良好自我认知的养成,以及面对问题、质疑,校方的开放、透明、积极协调沟通的态度。以这次疫情为例,为了应对教育模式的改变,顺义校区每个班级派两位教师进群,第一时间解决家长各种问题,既人文又高效。校方第一时间沟通,远比家长间相互传递高效的多!疏而不堵,信息透明,时时捕捉家长孩子的诉求,积极回应、解决才是真正的家校共建!

  Q:您对孩子有什么具体的期待吗?有没有想对孩子说的话?

  其实家长对孩子的期待,大多属于“一厢情愿”。因为孩子不一定按着我们的愿望走,期待越大,失望越大。如果说有所期待,就是希望孩子别被我纠结、焦虑的心态影响,能按着自己成长的步伐慢慢前行,每个新的一天都比昨天好一点,每一天都能找到自己开心、快乐、满足的点,恣意地笑上十分钟,在富足与成就感中结束平凡的一天。

  想对孩子说的话就是:好孩子,妈妈要努力做到母爱的纯净,避免太多期待点燃妈妈内心的焦灼,压弯你小小的脊梁。妈妈也想真诚地和你说一声:如果前10年妈妈做的不够好,我会努力让自己的期许与步调跟上你的身影。无论何时何地,只要你需要,妈妈就会与你一路同行,直面人生的冷暖风情,品味自然界中四季的不同,以及人生长卷中可圈可点的风景!

  Last week, BIBS G4 student Tony Yang’s rap music was reported in many education medias’ front page. This sunny and handsome young man’s song touched a lot of people.

  Like Mr. Cai Yuan-Pei former principal of Peking University once said: ‘Good personality cultivation, rather than test scores, makes a good future. Knowledge must be acquired not only from books but also from the society.’ Today we have interviewed Mrs. Zhao Hongli, mom of BIBS student. Let’s hear her opinion on the COVID-19.

  Q:Tony’s music moved many people. How have you been guiding Tony’s attention to the virus outbreak and what did you do to inspire and encourage Tony when he had the idea to write his own song?

  I once read: ‘Every child in front of you may become a hero someday fighting for our common destiny’. Being the future of our country and my family, Tony should know what’s going on. We didn’t direct Tony’s attention to this matter on purpose, and he simply picked up the information when we talked about it, and naturally became part of the conversation. Besides telling him how to protect himself, we also discussed with him how the outbreak happened, and how would he react if he was in charge of city management. We also exchanged our ideas on mankind’s relationship with the planet earth. Our intension was to help him inquire the nature behind. Talking about the song he wrote, he has been into electronic and rap music for some time, which did not agree with my own taste for music at first. But Tony kept telling me how he wanted to make music videos and which types of music work better for the shows. Till he presented his first rap song to me, I realized that I must protect and encourage this interest of him. It did not matter if I liked it or not. Art is diversified and I must not put a limit on my son’s imagination.

  Except for a few suggestions, I provided Tony with nothing but unconditioned respect and support when he worked on the music, beats, dancing moves and dresses. This is perhaps the most immature product as a director, but I’d rather save his innocence in this unperfect work.

  Q:You have directed two education related movies. Can you tell us what education should be like in your mind?

  If there is perfect education, it must only be one that fits the child. But if we must define, I would imagine it’s about educating a real human being, such as survivability, life, love, responsibility and achievements etc.

  Many people have been staying at him due to the virus. If parents are not around, can our children survive on their own? Even without the virus, shouldn’t we start teaching our next generations about respecting life? Are their hearts filled with love and warmth? Will they be able to take up the responsibility in front of a crisis and are they empowered with justice and love in their blood?

  I believe a healthy and complete personality must be cultivated before teaching knowledge, skills, emotion and financial quotients, and I think we still have a long way to go.

  Q:What’s your opinion on the international education services in China? And why you chose BIBS for your son?

  International education is an important part of the diversified education system in China. Education should be diversified, because every child is unique, and every soul deserves respect. A unified education and assessment system cannot be perfect for everyone, and it’s important the know what’s best for who.

  I optioned international education for Tony because it’s open, tolerant and fair concept. I want my son to spend his childhood in a relatively free, fair and easy environment. Life is a marathon and it’s not that crucial who gets a head start.

  A good friend of my Mr. Zhang Juhe, who is also an expert in diversified educator, recommended BIBS to me. I liked the education concept and curriculum which adopts Chinese and mathematics from the national education program. Being Chinese, we shouldn’t ignore our tradition.

  Q:When did Tony join BIBS? Have you been satisfied with us so far?

  Tony started from pre-school, and I’m happy with this decision so far. There is a respectful, fair and open environment, and students are taught with self-consciousness and positive attitude. The school has been open, transparent and reactive to my questions and requests too. Since the virus outbreak, the Shunyi campus assigned two teachers of each class to answer questions from parents in the WeChat group. Quick and proactive communication with the school is much more efficient than parents talking to each other in private. This is a true practice of good parent-school relationship.

  Q:Anything you want to say to your Tony?

  Sometimes, parents should remember to keep their expectations to themselves, as most children have their own life. Let’s wish our children to stay away from anxiety and sorrow, develop at their own pace, make small improvement, and find their own joy and happiness every day.

  I’d like to tell my Tony that I won’t give him too pressure no matter how much I want him to succeed. If I had not been a perfect mom 10 years ago, I will try to improve myself and catch up with you. Whenever you need, mommy is always here for you.
